KICKOFF MINISTRY

Read • Learn • Grow

Kickoff Ministry’s World section searches for meaningful stories, ideas, achievements, businesses, entrepreneurs, organizations, and developments from around the world that we believe are worth sharing with our readers. Our goal is to provide thoughtful and positive reading that encourages people to expand their minds, continue learning, think critically, and approach each day with purpose.

As children of God, we believe we should continue growing in knowledge, character, creativity, and understanding while using our abilities to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Through the articles and stories featured here, we hope to introduce readers to people and ideas that inspire innovation, perseverance, leadership, service, and productive change.

Will every reader become the next Thomas Edison? Probably not — but you never know. Readers make leaders. Our hope is simply that good reading can spark a new idea, encourage a better attitude, inspire someone to pursue a goal, or help a person bring greater purpose and productivity into the workplace and everyday life.

Read something good. Learn something new. Make today productive. God Bless You!

Faith • Purpose • Perseverance

Kickoff Ministry’s Inspiration articles are created to encourage people to improve their lives through faith in God, walking with Jesus Christ, prayer, reading, reflection, critical thinking, and the pursuit of their own goals. Through these writings, we pray that readers are inspired to continue their journey through life’s victories, struggles, accomplishments, disappointments, and moments of adversity with faith, hope, and purpose. We believe that we are all God’s children and that every step forward matters, whether an achievement seems great or small. Our hope is that these articles encourage readers to keep growing, keep believing, remain thankful for their progress, and continue seeking the purpose God has placed before them.

Roy’s Words

Roy’s Words presents the words of Roy Andrade as spoken on camera during the filming of Kickoff Ministry’s Holy Bible video series. These writings are taken directly from his introductions and teachings, beginning with Genesis and continuing through his journey toward Revelation. The material is presented for educational and spiritual purposes, giving readers an opportunity to reflect on his ideas, biblical study, and personal insights while being encouraged to pray, worship God, believe in Jesus Christ, and seek greater meaning and purpose in life.

CHAPTER 2: Page 9

Whether structured or simple, liturgy helps center the heart on God and brings people together in worship, sometimes.

Returning to Abraham, after the time of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, known as a patriarchal period, their descendants, the Israelites, eventually settled in Egypt during a time of famine.

At first, they were welcomed as guests, but as generations passed and their numbers increased, they became a source of fear and resentment. Over time, the Egyptians enslaved them.

This period, known as the Egyptian sojourn, lasted for several centuries and was marked by deep suffering and oppression.

Between sixteen hundred and twelve fifty BCE, something history-changing took place. God had not forgotten about his people.

But after killing an Egyptian who was beating a Hebrew slave, Moses fled into the wilderness to escape punishment. It was there in the desert that he encountered God in a burning bush.

In that moment, God called Moses back to Egypt with a divine mission to confront Pharaoh and lead the Israelites to freedom.

Through a series of miraculous plagues, God displayed his power not only to Pharaoh, but to all of Egypt. Each plague was a direct challenge to Egypt’s gods.

Yahweh is not just eternal, but sovereign, unstoppable, and supreme over all creation.

This great rescue mission is known as the Exodus, and it stands as one of the most defining moments in biblical history.

For the Jewish people, the Exodus marked the beginning of their identity as a nation set apart under God’s covenant.
