KICKOFF MINISTRY

Read • Learn • Grow

Kickoff Ministry’s World section searches for meaningful stories, ideas, achievements, businesses, entrepreneurs, organizations, and developments from around the world that we believe are worth sharing with our readers. Our goal is to provide thoughtful and positive reading that encourages people to expand their minds, continue learning, think critically, and approach each day with purpose.

As children of God, we believe we should continue growing in knowledge, character, creativity, and understanding while using our abilities to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Through the articles and stories featured here, we hope to introduce readers to people and ideas that inspire innovation, perseverance, leadership, service, and productive change.

Will every reader become the next Thomas Edison? Probably not — but you never know. Readers make leaders. Our hope is simply that good reading can spark a new idea, encourage a better attitude, inspire someone to pursue a goal, or help a person bring greater purpose and productivity into the workplace and everyday life.

Read something good. Learn something new. Make today productive. God Bless You!

Kickoff Ministry’s Inspiration articles are created to encourage people to improve their lives through faith in God, walking with Jesus Christ, prayer, reading, reflection, critical thinking, and the pursuit of their own goals. Through these writings, we pray that readers are inspired to continue their journey through life’s victories, struggles, accomplishments, disappointments, and moments of adversity with faith, hope, and purpose. We believe that we are all God’s children and that every step forward matters, whether an achievement seems great or small. Our hope is that these articles encourage readers to keep growing, keep believing, remain thankful for their progress, and continue seeking the purpose God has placed before them.

Roy’s Words

Roy’s Words presents the words of Roy Andrade as spoken on camera during the filming of Kickoff Ministry’s Holy Bible video series. These writings are taken directly from his introductions and teachings, beginning with Genesis and continuing through his journey toward Revelation. The material is presented for educational and spiritual purposes, giving readers an opportunity to reflect on his ideas, biblical study, and personal insights while being encouraged to pray, worship God, believe in Jesus Christ, and seek greater meaning and purpose in life.

CHAPTER 3: Page 3

For the Jewish people, the Exodus is the defining moment when God delivers Israel from slavery with power and faithfulness. At Mount Sinai, he establishes his covenant and gives a clear command in Exodus chapter 20, verse 3. You shall have no other gods before me.

From that point on, Israel is called to exclusive loyalty to him.

Christians believe that God later carried out the greater rescue plan, sending his son Jesus Christ to free all of humanity from sin and death. Just as the Israelites were saved through the blood of the Passover Lamb, Christians believe Jesus is the Lamb of God, whose sacrifice brings eternal deliverance.

I’m gonna take a quick detour to the New Testament before diving back into the Old Testament timeline.

Christians see Jesus as the Lamb of God, whose sacrifice brings eternal deliverance. Some may ask, how can Jesus sacrifice himself to God?

Christians believe Jesus is God in the flesh who willingly gave his life and rose again, proving his power over death.

After the Egyptian sojourn, the Israelites entered the period of settlement in Canaan, which spanned roughly from 1200 to 1000 BCE. This era is captured in the biblical book of Judges, a time when Israel had no centralized king.

Instead, leadership came through judges, charismatic, God-appointed figures like the Borah, Gideon, and Samson, who were raised up to deliver the people from foreign oppression.

But while they were gaining ground politically and militarily, they were slipping spiritually.
