KICKOFF MINISTRY

Read • Learn • Grow

Kickoff Ministry’s World section searches for meaningful stories, ideas, achievements, businesses, entrepreneurs, organizations, and developments from around the world that we believe are worth sharing with our readers. Our goal is to provide thoughtful and positive reading that encourages people to expand their minds, continue learning, think critically, and approach each day with purpose.

As children of God, we believe we should continue growing in knowledge, character, creativity, and understanding while using our abilities to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Through the articles and stories featured here, we hope to introduce readers to people and ideas that inspire innovation, perseverance, leadership, service, and productive change.

Will every reader become the next Thomas Edison? Probably not — but you never know. Readers make leaders. Our hope is simply that good reading can spark a new idea, encourage a better attitude, inspire someone to pursue a goal, or help a person bring greater purpose and productivity into the workplace and everyday life.

Read something good. Learn something new. Make today productive. God Bless You!

Roy’s Words

Roy’s Words presents the words of Roy Andrade as spoken on camera during the filming of Kickoff Ministry’s Holy Bible video series. These writings are taken directly from his introductions and teachings, beginning with Genesis and continuing through his journey toward Revelation. The material is presented for educational and spiritual purposes, giving readers an opportunity to reflect on his ideas, biblical study, and personal insights while being encouraged to pray, worship God, believe in Jesus Christ, and seek greater meaning and purpose in life.

CHAPTER 6: Page 7

For countless people throughout history, the Bible has not merely been a religious text, it has been a cast for the broken, a prescription for the sick, a defibrillator for the spiritually lifeless, a prophylactic against hopelessness, a source of light in the darkness, and for many, a living testimony pointing toward humanity’s search for truth, redemption, purpose, and a relationship with uh I was gonna say living God, and that’s true, but sometimes familiar words become so familiar that we stop feeling their weight.

So let me say it this way: a relationship with the ancient of days, as described in Daniel chapter seven, verse nine, and as we move forward into chapter seven and begin exploring the book of Genesis, I believe this is where the conversation becomes even more profound because Genesis is not simply the beginning of the Bible.

In many ways, Genesis represents humanity’s attempt to understand existence itself. It is where some of the oldest and most important questions ever asked begin to crystallize. Questions about creation, purpose, morality, suffering, life, death, order, chaos, and the relationship between creation and its creator.

For thousands of years, people from different civilizations, cultures, languages, and religious traditions have opened the book of Genesis searching for answers. Some have approached it through faith, others through philosophy, others through skepticism, history, archaeology, or science.

Yet, despite the differences in interpretation, humanity continues returning to these same passages generation after generation, and I think that alone, I think that that alone says something remarkable about the power and influence of these uh writings.
