KICKOFF MINISTRY

Read • Learn • Grow

Kickoff Ministry’s World section searches for meaningful stories, ideas, achievements, businesses, entrepreneurs, organizations, and developments from around the world that we believe are worth sharing with our readers. Our goal is to provide thoughtful and positive reading that encourages people to expand their minds, continue learning, think critically, and approach each day with purpose.

As children of God, we believe we should continue growing in knowledge, character, creativity, and understanding while using our abilities to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Through the articles and stories featured here, we hope to introduce readers to people and ideas that inspire innovation, perseverance, leadership, service, and productive change.

Will every reader become the next Thomas Edison? Probably not — but you never know. Readers make leaders. Our hope is simply that good reading can spark a new idea, encourage a better attitude, inspire someone to pursue a goal, or help a person bring greater purpose and productivity into the workplace and everyday life.

Read something good. Learn something new. Make today productive. God Bless You!

Faith • Purpose • Perseverance

Kickoff Ministry’s Inspiration articles are created to encourage people to improve their lives through faith in God, walking with Jesus Christ, prayer, reading, reflection, critical thinking, and the pursuit of their own goals. Through these writings, we pray that readers are inspired to continue their journey through life’s victories, struggles, accomplishments, disappointments, and moments of adversity with faith, hope, and purpose. We believe that we are all God’s children and that every step forward matters, whether an achievement seems great or small. Our hope is that these articles encourage readers to keep growing, keep believing, remain thankful for their progress, and continue seeking the purpose God has placed before them.

Roy’s Words

Roy’s Words presents the words of Roy Andrade as spoken on camera during the filming of Kickoff Ministry’s Holy Bible video series. These writings are taken directly from his introductions and teachings, beginning with Genesis and continuing through his journey toward Revelation. The material is presented for educational and spiritual purposes, giving readers an opportunity to reflect on his ideas, biblical study, and personal insights while being encouraged to pray, worship God, believe in Jesus Christ, and seek greater meaning and purpose in life.

CHAPTER 4: Page 4

Just like our physical body cannot survive long without nourishment, our spirit cannot thrive or survive without God.

Jesus made this crystal clear in the gospel of Matthew chapter 4, verse 4, when he said, Man should not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.

Today, Christians may not see golden idols on every street corner, but polytheistic thinking and the spirit of idolatry are still alive and just as poisonous.

Polytheistic thinking emerges whenever people begin looking to multiple sources for truth, identity, security, purpose, or salvation instead of God alone.

Modern idolatry often reveals itself through the worship of status, power, political identity, wealth, physical appearance, influence, sexual desire, personal ambition, celebrity culture, social media validation and approval from others.

These idols, modern idols, may not may no longer stand inside ancient temples made of stone, but they often live in our screens, our bank accounts, our ambitions, and in our heads.

Trust me when I say this, I’m all for success. I’m all for striving for more and pushing forward in life.

But scriptures like Deuteronomy chapter 8, verse 18, keeps me grounded.

“But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the power to get wealth.”

The temptation isn’t always to bow before a statue, it’s allowing our hearts to slowly drift away from God. That’s how prayers fade.
