DALLAS — Southwest Airlines has launched a new advertising campaign, “Enter Airplane Mode,” encouraging Americans to escape daily stress through travel. A Southwest-sponsored survey found that 76% of respondents experience burnout, while 68% believe traveling can help them regain control of their time. The campaign introduces “Notification Vacation,” allowing customers to convert smartphone notifications into Rapid Rewards points, alongside an online burnout quiz.
“As the airline that democratized the skies, Southwest Airlines® has always helped make the dream trip a reality and our new campaign, ‘Enter Airplane Mode,’ encourages Customers to recognize when they’re approaching a breaking point and to turn that moment into their booking point,” said Sabrina Callahan, Southwest’s Senior Vice President and Chief Digital & Marketing Officer. The campaign features commercials directed by Will Speck and Josh Gordon, narrated by actor Adam Scott, and offers opportunities to receive a combined total of more than 185 million Rapid Rewards points, subject to promotional limits.
