CARLISLE, PA. — Organic Remedies, a medical marijuana company based in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, donated $110,000 to the Child and Youth Advocacy Network of Pennsylvania (CYAN PA) following its fifth annual golf tournament fundraiser. The funds will support children and youth in Pennsylvania who have experienced abuse and neglect. Since the tournament's inception in 2022, Organic Remedies has contributed a total of $374,500 to CYAN PA, which supports local CASA programs advocating for the safety and well-being of vulnerable children across the state.

CYAN PA, formerly known as Pennsylvania Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (PA CASA), provides training, technical assistance, and support to local volunteer child advocacy programs. Jennifer DeBalko, president and CEO of CYAN PA, expressed appreciation for the donation, noting that their 21 local programs serve 32 counties but more work is needed. Mark Toigo, CEO of Organic Remedies, emphasized the importance of safe and nurturing homes for children and the company's commitment to expanding advocacy efforts. He said “Every child deserves a safe, nurturing home free from fear, hunger and abuse”.
