WASHINGTON, D.C. — Hundreds of clergy, faith leaders, and guests gathered at The Washington Times building for the “God’s Hope Is America” event, an interfaith gathering focused on prayer, religious freedom, peace, and support for Dr. Hak Ja Han, known by supporters as the Mother of Peace. The event brought together Christian and other faith leaders, former government officials, musicians, and community members, with speakers urging people of different religious traditions to stand together in defense of religious liberty and cooperation. The program also featured gospel performances, a youth choir, and a commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s 1976 Washington Monument rally, reinforcing the event’s broader message of faith, unity, and peaceful collaboration across religious communities.
