HANOI, VIETNAM — Gia Binh International Airport, a major new infrastructure project in northern Vietnam, is participating in Routes World 2026 in Frankfurt to meet with global airlines and explore future route development opportunities. Backed by Masterise Aviation Infrastructure JSC, the airport is expected to play a key role in expanding Vietnam’s international connectivity and supporting economic growth. Project representatives plan to hold more than 30 meetings with airlines, airports and destination partners as they promote the airport’s long-term vision for passenger travel, cargo operations and regional connectivity.

Strategically located within the Hanoi-Bac Ninh-Hai Phong growth corridor, the airport is being positioned as a new international gateway for northern Vietnam, with access to nearly 300 airports within a three-hour flight radius and a combined market of about 1.3 billion people. Developers say the project is intended to address unmet international travel demand, support manufacturing and foreign investment, and strengthen tourism and trade. With goals that include fast passenger connections, expanded cargo capacity and future aircraft maintenance services, Gia Binh International Airport aims to become a major engine of growth for the region.
